Our Organization
The 84’ Association is for the community; this means everyone who meets the requirements is able to join without having to be a part of our AAU organization. That stands for Coaches and families as well. The key word in our name is Association. Anyone may be associated with, the 84’ Association and receive all that we have to offer. We offer coaches training as well as player weekly development. Our goal is to make the Southside of Atlanta better for all, one community at a time.
The 84' Association, "84'A", also assists those teams without organizational skills. From calendars, to communication tools, and so much more. We promote our teams independently. Better Than Basketball
We want to create the complete athlete. Not just with physical training and mental fortitude to handle a basketball season. We also want to equip them with the tools that it will take to be successful for life. We have several outlets that will assist in this endeavor. From mentors to mental health therapist, all the way to social media counselors. These options are not only available to the athlete but they are offered to the families as well. We believe that once you assist the athlete 360 degrees as well as those around them, then you will see the full potential of that athlete. Everyone must be on the same page in order to experience continued success. This is what separates us from the rest!

GA Diamonds - FPE Girls 5th grade
Team full of future stars and they are confident that they will get the job done right.
- Finished their 2024 campaign without losing a single championship game in the State
- Led by a great coaching staff
- Coach Gilbert is also the Head Coach for Fayette High
- Fast, fierce, and talented their ready for the season ahead
- Tryouts for this team is every December
Currency Hoops
The youngest boys team that we support.
- Led by Head Coach and Organizer Daniel Quintanilla
- An Elite traveling boys team
- Multiple championships and top finishes in national tourneys
- Tryouts for the boys begin in December
GA Diamonds 6th - FPE
The feisty and fearless never been defeated in GA, against other AAU girl teams.
- These girls did not lose a single state tournament in 2024
- They are ready to put their record to the test this year
- Led by Coach Scarlett (Coach Kap)
- Their 2025 campaign will be like no other
- Tryouts for this team is every January
GA Diamonds - FPE Girls 8th
Member of the FPE organization. The 8th grade girls team. The oldest girls team in the organization.
- Led by, Head Coach Spencer Miller
- 2nd year program
- 2 tourney championships last season.
- Placed 2nd in two others out of seven.
- Will travel out state to play in multiple tournaments
- Try-outs for this team will begin in January
Fighting Tigers - FPE Boys 8th
With this being their inaugural season these boys are primed and ready to be crowned as the Elite of the South
- Led by Head Coach Tony Graves
- Boys travel team with a 7th and 8th grade roster
- Team tryouts are in December
- National tournament Schedule and Live Period Showcases
